Open Streets 2022 (11am – 4pm)

Neighborhood exploring in a safe, fun, family-friendly environment. Each event encourages people to use active modes of transportation, rethink our streets as public space, and seeks to promote healthy living, local businesses, and civic pride. Various locations.

Northern Spark (Sunset – 2am)

Celebrate your love of art all night. From sunset to 2am you can explore downtown St. Paul and see things like giant video projections, play in temporary installations, and enjoy experimental performances in green spaces.

Rock the Garden

Music returns to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. Enjoy two stages of indie music, food trucks, and beer tents while you soak up the sights and sounds of Summer. Gates open at 1pm, music starts at 2pm.

Midsommar Celebration

The Midsommar Celebration at the American Swedish Institute is one of the largest in the Midwest. It’s celebrated by making fresh-flower head wreaths, singing, listening to live music, and dancing around the midsommarstång (maypole)—all hallmarks of this family-friendly festival.

Strawberry Fest, 2022

The Cottage Grove Strawberry Fest is a four-day, family focused event that offers something for everyone. Enjoy wonderful food, fantastic bands, a carnival and more!

Back to the 50s Weekend

More than 12,000 street rods, customs, classics, and restored vehicles, 1964 & older, will converge on the MN State Fair- grounds for this three-day event.

Stone Arch Bridge Festival

A weekend of art and music on the Minneapolis Riverfront. Enjoy 200+ artists, family activities and live music.

7/10

Lakeville Lions Fly-in Breakfast (7:30-11am)

Airlake Air- port in the Aircraft Resource Hanger.

This event attracts flyers from all over MN and WI! Lions have confirmed the appearance of the MN Commemorative Air Force (CAF) “Warbirds”

7/15–7/17

Hastings Rivertown Days

3 stages and 25 different bands playing nonstop music. Additionally, showcases a carnival, a classic car show, arts and crafts and many more events throughout the weekend.

Bike the Arb (7:30am-3pm)

The Arboretum will host an 8k bike race, geocaching by bike, a bike safety camp, bike wash and decoration station and a kiddie bike parade.

Arboretum Auxiliary Private Garden Tours

Tour four private gardens as guests of the Arboretum-Auxiliary.

7/20–7/23

Minneapolis Aquatennial

What some say are the “Best Days of Summer” returns with the usual great events plus some new ones. Torchlight parade, fireworks, and more in downtown Minneapolis.

Twin Cities Summer Jam

Here’s your chance to get the full music festival experience without leaving the city! See more than a dozen musical acts over 3 days, shop the vendors, enjoy the festival food and drinks, and do it all outdoors on a beautiful Minnesota summer night. 3-day or 1-day tickets available for purchase.

Loring Park Art Festival

An urban oasis of art and culture. Bringing all types of artwork from 140 different artists, this festival celebrates its 22nd year. Enjoy artwork, music, food, children’s activities, live music, and unique entertainment.

Minnesota Fringe Festival

Performing arts extravaganza in a variety of Twin Cities theaters, including one-of-a-kind acts debuted for the first time and in-person independently produced live shows.

Uptown Art Fair

West Lake St & Hennepin Ave

Fair with over 350 artists spanning 12 different media, fine food, outdoor stage & youth art with various mini events planned.

Powderhorn Art Fair

The best regionally juried art fair for nearly three decades takes place in Powderhorn Park. Shop hundreds of local and regional artists and enjoy local food trucks.

Eagan Food Truck Festival

Eagan’s Food On 4 Wheels Food Truck Festival will feature 23 Twin Cities food trucks along with beer and live music.

Nershfest

Expect a stellar lineup of local music on an outdoor stage, top-notch craft beer, delicious food trucks, festival swag and more.

Summer Beer Dabbler

Summer Beer Dabbler celebrates its 13th anniversary when it returns to CHS Field. Over 130 breweries and cideries will be pouring the best local, national, and international beers and ciders they have to offer.
