Join us for Wayzata’s James J. Hill Days located in beautiful downtown Wayzata overlooking Lake Minnetonka! It’s finally happening next month form Friday, 9/10 – Sunday, 9/12 and, after a year off due to Covid, this year’s celebration is sure to be more exciting than ever! Whether you’ve been a regular over the years or are new to James J. Hill Days, there is sure to be something to fit your fancy. During the 3-day event there’s everything from plenty of food and carnival fun, Rails & Ales Craft Beer Festival, logrolling, a beer garden, street market, beach bash concerts, fireworks, parade, airshow, and numerous furry canine friend events in the dog park including a puppy kissing booth and a costume contest! Celebrated annually since 1975, this is a party you must experience, and it is shaped around such vibrant history! It honors the Great Northern Railroad Co. owner, James J. Hill and his success building the Wayzata train depot back in the early 1900’s – an accomplishment that can be attributed to Wayzata’s transformation into the desirable destination it continues to be to this very day. James J. Hill Days is hosted by our friends at the Wayzata Chamber of Commerce who do an amazing job of bringing the entire community together to properly celebrate this cherished tradition.
Our very own Ben Johnson is on the Chamber’s Board of Directors, and you bet you’ll see some of our Real Estate Nation team members there both volunteering at the beer tent and enjoying all the fun-filled activities just like we’ve done in the past!
